The Priest Sphere of Magic

 Heal I (C1)

 1 magic point

Calling upon the powers of his or her deity, the priest is able to restore 10 hit points to the target of the spell.  A priest will find that he or she will gain a small amount of experience points for healing the injuries of others using this spell.  No experience is gained for healing ones self for it is the selfless act of giving ones self for another that yields the experience insight.

 Prayer of Warding (C2)

 2 magic points

Calling upon the powers of his or her deity, the priest is able to create a shield of pure holy energy around a target.  This shield will impart to the target a bonus of 10 defensive points.  As a Priest becomes more experienced in the ways of Priestly magic, this spell's power will also improve and afford a target with a more advanced bonus to his or her defense.

 Heal II (C5)

 5 magic points

Calling upon the powers of his or her deity, the priest is able to summon a much stronger version of the Heal I spell and restore 25 hit points to a target.  The priest will gain the same amount of experience for healing someone with this spell as he or she would with Heal I.  No experience is gained for healing ones self for it is the selfless act of giving ones self for another that yields the experience insight.

 Lifegiving (C10)

 10 magic points

Calling upon the powers of his or her deity, a priest is able to beseech that deity to grant life to a fallen player.  A priest will suffer a significant penalty after casting this spell, and will sacrifice 25% of their maximum hit points to complete the resurrection.  The newly resurrected player will have a minimum of 1 hit point.  10 additional hit points will be returned to the target for each Priest spell the caster knows.  A word of warning.  A priest attempting to give life to the fallen who does not have at least 25% of their maximum hit points will not survive the ordeal.  A priest will gain a small amount of experience from completing a successful resurrection.
